Grounded in hands-on client advocacy, she helps clients navigate high-stakes disputes and evolving regulatory landscapes while maintaining a practical, solutions-oriented approach. Sydni first joined the firm as a Summer Associate.

While in law school, Sydni interned for the Criminal Law & Justice Center where she appeared in court in support of prosecutor-initiated resentencing and prepared petitions and filings advancing second-chance relief in Alameda County.

Previous Work

Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Sydni was a Legal intern at the California Department of Justice in the Civil Rights Enforcement Section, where she supported civil rights litigation and policy initiatives in California. She was also a clinical student at the East Bay Community Law Center’s Clean Slate program, where she advised and represented clients in pursuit of post-conviction remedies and record clearing in Alameda County.

Professional Activities

Pro Bono Work

Helped file an Amicus brief in the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on behalf of nearly 20 organizations dedicated to the care, health, and welfare of children and families. The brief supported plaintiffs in Jenny Lisette Flores, et al., v. Pamela Bondi, Attorney General of the United States, et al., by urging the Court to uphold the government’s obligations to detained children and families under the Flores agreement.

Life Beyond the Law

Outside of work, Sydni enjoys traveling, crocheting, and exploring the Bay Area food scene.
